‘Positive progress in research’
Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri said that Nepal Police has made positive progress in the field of crime investigation. Speaking at a program organized at the Police Headquarters today for the half-yearly performance review program of the Nepal Police for the fiscal year 2078/79 BS, he said that the statistics showed positive progress in the areas of execution of verdicts, heinous crimes, smuggling control and investigation due to police activism.
“Police should be mobilized with more sensitivity and seriousness in the reduction and investigation of road accidents, incidents of sexual violence and detention management,” he said.
