Double the infection free

Kathmandu– The number of people infected with the corona virus is twice as high as the number of non-infected people across the country. In the last 24 hours, 3,637 people have been infected with the corona virus. At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Health and Population, spokesperson Dr. Sangita Kaushal Mishra said that 3 thousand 637 infected people have been confirmed through 11 thousand 582 tests.

He said that the number of such people has reached 7,555. So far, eight lakh 78 thousand 720 people have been infected. According to the ministry, the number of active infected has reached 69,291.

Twelve died

Ministry spokesman Dr Mishra said 12 people had died during the period due to the infection. So far, 11,764 people have died due to the infection.

Similarly, 16 districts have been infected with more than 500 cases. According to the ministry, Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Dhanusha, Siraha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Kavre, Kaski, Nawalparasi East, Banke, Rupandehi and Kailali.

Similarly, 18 districts have been infected with more than 200 cases. These districts include Saptari, Parsa, Bara, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dhading, Sindhupanchok, Sindhuli, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Syangja, Baglung, Tanahu, Palpa, Bardia, Surkhet and Kanchanpur. The infection rate in Nepal is 18.3 percent.

Currently 67,825 in home isolation, One thousand 466 people are being treated in institutional isolation, 270 in intensive care unit and 52 in ventilator.

Today, about eight million people have been vaccinated against the corona virus. Ministry spokesperson Dr Mishra said that 815,796 people have been vaccinated. Similarly, booster dose against corona virus has been fixed at 4,84,479 so far.
