Central Security Committee Meeting: Discussion on local level election security


Kathmandu– A meeting of the Central Security Committee chaired by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has discussed about the proposed local level election security management and preparations.

Home Ministry Spokesperson Phanindra Mani Pokharel informed that the meeting discussed about the security management and current security situation in the local level election proposed by the Election Commission for May 15.

During the meeting, Rathi Bal Krishna Karki of the Nepal Army, Shailesh Thapa, Inspector General of the Nepal Police, Shailendra Khanal, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, and Yadulal Kharel, Chief Investigation Director of the National Investigation Department, expressed their views on security materials and security arrangements.
